Shop Management guide
Getting started with HaatBeat Shop Management
Set up HaatBeat Shop Management step by step: your business profile, your items, your first GST bill, printing, and the reports to check each day.
1. Create your account and business profile
Open the app at dukan.haatbeat.in, or install the Windows app, and create your account. Then add your business profile: the shop name, address and, if you are registered, your GSTIN. These details print on every bill.
2. Add your items
Add each item once with its selling price, purchase price, GST rate and HSN code. If you use them, add the barcode, SKU, batch and expiry date, and a low-stock alert quantity.
Already have a list in Excel? Import it instead of typing every item.
3. Make your first bill
Search for an item by name or barcode, or scan it with the camera, and set the quantity. Choose how the customer pays: cash, UPI, a split, or credit to be paid later. Save, then print on A4 or a thermal printer, share the bill, or download it as a PDF.
4. Keep stock right
Every sale reduces stock. When goods arrive, record the supplier's purchase bill so stock comes back in; you can scan their printed invoice to start it. Record damaged or expired goods as waste.
5. Check the day
At closing, review the day's sales and pending dues. Send payment reminders on WhatsApp for bills still due. At month end, the reports show sales by period, top items and customers, and GST summaries; export the accountant workbook if your accountant files your returns.
